The attraction was first set to reopen on May 1, 2020, but Disney decided to reopen it earlier.

Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle announced on his Instagram that the PeopleMover would reopen this weekend at the Magic Kingdom. It would either reopen Saturday, April 24th, or Sunday, April 25th.

The reopening did not happen on Saturday, but guests were happy to finally be able to ride it again this Sunday.

The lines were long for most part of the day but moving fast.
