Walt Disney World Resort announced a number of resorts will be reopening after closing due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Two resorts are already open, some resorts are reopening tomorrow, June 22, others are planned to reopen after July 10. See all the dates bellow.

Resorts Reopening on June 22

Disney announced select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will reopen. These select Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts include:

  • Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  • Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
  • Disney’s Beach Club Villas
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
  • Disney’s Old Key West Resort
  • Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
  • Disney’s Riviera Resort
  • Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
  • The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Disney also commented on the safety measures being taken to reopen the resorts:

"As we open these hotels, we are taking a measured and deliberate approach to implement a number of health and safety measures based on guidance from various governmental authorities and health agencies." — Walt Diney World Resort

Resorts Reopening After July 10

These are the resorts reopening after July 10. Some resorts like, Disney’s All-Stars Resorts, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Riverside, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge do not have an opening date yet.

Disney warned these are planned dates and are subject to change:

"Please note that given the fluidity of the current environment, these dates are subject to change and Guests’ reservations could still be modified to other Disney Resort hotels if needed." — Walt Diney World Resort
